I know my blog posts have really lacked any comments lately.  I sincerely apologize for that.  I have had so many incredible session, and keeping up with posting the images in between editing, ordering, and shooting is about all I have been able to handle!  However, this little man is so very special to me.  This is now the SEVENTH time I have photographed him since he was born!!!!  I just can’t get enough of his sweetness, and it makes me soooooo sad that since he is growing up so quickly (and handsomely, at that) I probably won’t be seeing him as often any more.  :(  You know how parents always get those milestone shots during that first year or so – well, it was a great 18 months Ian!!!  I can’t wait until the next time I see you!  :)

seriously…..take a look at these lips.  This precious face melted my heart the moment I walked into this house.  His momma and I used to work together, and when I got there it was like no time had passed – well, except of course for this beautiful little man.  I am so happy for you three!

Ok, so I know these three are all essentially the same pose, but come on!  He was sooooooooo good and sleepy, and he totally let me play and put him in all my new, cool, knit stuff.  It was baby photographer heaven!!!  

that this little one was sick, can you?  She was one of the shining stars of the Urban Angel Mini Sessions last weekend.  I know Mom has been waiting patiently for a sneak peek, hoping they turned out.  Well, Mom…..your precious little one really turned it ON for the camera.  Bless her little heart.  These are some of my favorite images from the day.  

that I love this family!  I could go on, and on, and on, but let me give you the quick rundown here.

This Dad used to work with my Mom.  My Mom would gush about what a wonderful person he was, how he was probably the nicest person in the world, and how he had the cutest daughters.  Little did I know – fast forward several years, and one of those daughters would be in my class, and the other on my volleyball team.  Mom did my hair for my wedding, and is just AMAZING! My 80 year old great uncle was raving about how gorgeous my hair looked.  Um, yeah, she rocked it!  Oh, and did I mention that their oldest daughter is the current Indiana State Fair Queen, and their middle daughter was in a movie this summer!!  This family is oozing with awesomeness, and I just love them to pieces.  Thanks for allowing me to capture your awesomeness together.  Love you guys!

How do I get so lucky??  Seriously, this family was a dream come true.  Not only were they soooo easy going, they are incredibly photogenic AND they practically posed themselves. They were so sweet and loving toward one another –  it was all so natural.  Nothing was forced, and it was so clear what a great connection they have with one another.   Oh, and lets not forget about the gorgeous land and home they invited me to for the photo shoot.  Thank you “B” family for being so warm and welcoming, and helping to create a phenomenal session.  You guys are wonderful, and I look forward to seeing you again when your images are in!
