So a couple of Saturday’s ago, Valpo’s Venue got rocked by Tori’s Sweet 16 Birthday Bash.  Let me tell you, this was a party like none other.  Not only is the Venue an awesome place to have a party, but the family made this party insane!!!  The pictures will tell the story.  Tori – Happy Birthday, sweetie!!!  It is always a treat to photograph you, and I was honored to be there for this big occasion.

Clients make my job TOO easy!!

Steve had one of the nicest fall days we have had all season for his session. It was a great afternoon spent at two very different locations. He even played his guitar for me while I was shooting!! THAT was a session highlight!! He is a VERY talented guitar player!! Thanks for a wonderful session!

Soooooooo, Jason…..did you know you are a totally hot model?!?!?!  Cuz, you totally rocked it out for my camera.  Thanks for an amazing session!!!

This session was incredible.  Words cannot describe how much I love this girl. Since she knows, and frankly, you may just not care – I’ll leave the gushing between the two of us and allow the images to speak for themselves.  Kenz and I go way back, and I was honored and beyond excited to get to shoot her senior photos.

Do you ever play that game, where you try to assemble the perfect person with a variety of traits from people?  Like, take Adriana Lima’s eyes, and put them with Scarlett Johansson’s nose, along with Kim Kardashian’s hair, and so on until you have assembled the seemingly uber perfect person?  Well, if you ever play with me, I’ll call Kenzie’s lips. They are perfection.  And, that means game over – I’ve won.  lol 

This session was a pure delight.  Mom had an amazing vision for the session, and I was more than happy to hunt around to find the perfect locations to fit the bill.  The day went off without a hitch!  The girls were practically made to model, the day was gorgeous, the light was yummy, and look at these outfits!!!  I do LOVE Matilda Jane!!  Thanks for a wonderful time, ladies!  I can’t wait for the next session! 

I’m finishing up with the last of 2009 Seniors before they graduate.  Here is another gorgeous girl that is ready to embark on an entirely new chapter in her life.  I remember how exciting and exhilarating it was to graduate and start college.  This girl has some incredible plans for the future, and I wish her the best!  Enjoy the last few days of high school and graduation, S!

I’m about DONE with this wet, wet, icky, rainy, wet, icky weather!!!  I have never, ever had to cancel so many sessions due to weather.  This is crazy!!!  Luckily, this girl booked a perfect spring day.  The flowers and trees were gorgeous, the temp was perfect, and the wind even seemed to pick up at the exact moment it should to blow her hair just so.  I loved this session (soooooo many favorites!), and I can’t wait for her to get her prints!  :)

has the bluest eyes around.  I can’t get enough of them.  I’ve been lucky enough to photograph her 4 times this past year.  This beach session was the last of our 4 seasons senior package, and I’m now working on finishing up her 4 seasons album.  I was getting a tad sentimental at the end of our shoot, telling her she was like my newborn-1 year clients that I see every few months, and then all of a sudden I don’t get to see them as often.  After I made her promise to keep me updated on her life forever I let her leave.  lol  Jess, it’s been so much fun being your senior photographer.  I can’t wait for you to see your album.  Thanks for choosing me, and giving me the opportunity to document this year of your life.  All the best to you next year.  I know you’ll do great.   I expect to hear all about it!  :)
