Oh boy, was this a hot and sticky session! We had to reschedule this session due to rain and then illness, so despite the intense heat the show had to go on! As always, though, Ian was nothing but happy and perfectly content to play around outside while we captured some photos. I adore photographing this little guy, and so love watching him grow up. This past session he called me “Mantha” – SO CUTE!! Thanks again for a wonderful time with your family. You guys are the best!
OMG, you guys….you have no idea how much *fun* this family was to shoot. By the end of the session they had me ROLLING. They made me walk away from the session wishing I had 3 teenagers and a 5 year old at home – NOT an easy task to do!

Life is happening so quickly around here these days, I know the blog has been quite neglected. Many posts will be coming soon, as I have a LOT to update!! Last weekend, I got to hang out with the most awesome parents-to-be. I can’t wait for their little bundle of joy to arrive. They are such an artsy, edgy couple, and there home was SO freaking cool. The newborn session is going to be ah-mazing!!! Meanwhile, these two love birds are awaiting Brooklyn’s arrival in serious style. These two may be one of the sweetest, most in love couples I’ve ever photographed. They were so natural in front of the camera, just loving one another – the images I captured are some of the sweetest to date. I can tell these are two are soon going to become an amazing, loving, wonderful family of three! I’m so excited to be documenting their journey into parenthood! :)
How excited do you think I was when I got the call from Robin Rock, telling me she wanted to capture all 5 of her teen/young adult children in an urban setting???? Um, yeah!!! It was a freezing day, but these guys were all so cool and easy going, that the session seemed to take us no time. They are such a genuinely sweet and well-mannered group of siblings. They were up for anything, and they each has their own individuality that they brought to the session. I loved it! Thanks for a great afternoon!! I can’t wait for you to see the rest! :)

My availability for the fall season is becoming slim. If you are interested in a session, there are a few week day sessions available. I also have a last minute opening for this Saturday, 9/27. You may recognize the little man in these first two shots from the top of my blog. He’s the little flirt with the blonde curls that is shown in the revolving photos. To my surprise, he was so grown up, lookin’ like a little man when I arrived for their photo shoot last weekend! I’ve been photographing these brothers for over a year now ( take a journey with them here, here, and, here ) and I just love them to pieces!!! One thing I’ve always noticed is the connection between these two guys. Big Bro Joe started making silly faces, and Beau just LOST it. This kid was laughing so hard I thought he was going to start crying. I have another photo of him with one of those crazy, hysterical laugh faces on – just precious!! It was after that Joey promptly told me he was “done” with photos, and I had to agree. We had a great morning, and he supplied the perfect ending to the shoot. Much love to the K Family – you guys rock!
