Hi there!!!!!!! It’s been a LONG TIME since I’ve blogged! I decided to take some time off from the blog to catch up on life in general, enjoy summer, and just try not to be SO consumed by the business. However, the busy fall season is quickly approaching, and my down time is now officially O-V-E-R! I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the summer. It is certainly time to book for Christmas sessions, as there are only a few weekend dates left this fall! All orders must be placed by the second week in November in order to be guaranteed for Christmas delivery. This is a regular family of mine, and I love every time I get to photograph them. Boy, do they make some CUTE babies!! Check out the last picture in the post. That is one of my favorite places to shoot family images. The rolling green hills and perfect blue sky is such an ideal, simple background for any photo. I’ve shot there so much. Little Pauly had the *cutest* most unique reaction to the place. As soon as he saw the hills, with the most serious excitement, he exclaimed “Mommy! The Teletubbies are coming! The Teletubbies are coming!!!!!” While I have never actually watched the show, I instantly had to agree – it DID look just like that strange place they all kind of appeared into (Is that what happens? How do I even know this when I haven’t watched the show? idk). He loved it, and wanted to wait for them to come out after we were finished with the session. We had to convince him they had gone to bed for the night. Precious!

Oh boy, was this a hot and sticky session! We had to reschedule this session due to rain and then illness, so despite the intense heat the show had to go on! As always, though, Ian was nothing but happy and perfectly content to play around outside while we captured some photos. I adore photographing this little guy, and so love watching him grow up. This past session he called me “Mantha” – SO CUTE!! Thanks again for a wonderful time with your family. You guys are the best!

OMG, you guys….you have no idea how much *fun* this family was to shoot. By the end of the session they had me ROLLING. They made me walk away from the session wishing I had 3 teenagers and a 5 year old at home – NOT an easy task to do! I know you guys have been dying to see these. I LOVE them!! Thanks for an amazing session!

Loved this girl! Talk about a natural in front of the camera. She was such a trooper – she had the most amazingly cute and put together outfits, and the weather was *frigid* even though it was a gorgeous, sunny day. This poor girl was freezing during our entire session, but you would never know it by looking at these photos. She totally turned it on in front of the camera! T- I hope you love them! I had a great time at our session, and I can’t wait for you to see the rest!

I am literally *bursting* with joy over these photos. My dear friend Kristi recently gave birth to her first child, and I was lucky enough to get to visit them for a morning on Karli’s 17th day of life. Mom and Dad are completely in love with her – how could they not be?? It was so good to get to see my friend again and to capture this precious time in their life. Kristi, Chad – I am SO, SO happy for you three!! Karli is a perfect angel, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to come over and take these photos. I can’t wait to watch her grow up. You two are already phenomenal parents. I love you guys!

Oh, and did they ever! These girls are my senior rockstars. They have opted for the 4 seasons senior shoot (see details on my website), so this is now our 3rd shoot since August. This time they opted to have their session together, and while it was *frigid*, we managed to have a lot of fun and rock out photos like these below. I used some flash during this session (gasp! lol). I am primarily a natural light photographer, but with seniors and newborns it is often really fun to break out some cool lighting tricks – and this was the perfect session to do that. I present – Jess and Jess, Winter 09.

was FUN! There was so much love, energy, laughter, and fun exchanged during this session. I loved every minute of it!

My availability for the fall season is becoming slim. If you are interested in a session, there are a few week day sessions available. I also have a last minute opening for this Saturday, 9/27. The only other weekend date I have open is Sunday, 10/5. Book now, as spaces are filling up QUICKLY!! Now, onto the images from this fun-filled session….

You may recognize the little man in these first two shots from the top of my blog. He’s the little flirt with the blonde curls that is shown in the revolving photos. To my surprise, he was so grown up, lookin’ like a little man when I arrived for their photo shoot last weekend! I’ve been photographing these brothers for over a year now ( take a journey with them here, here, and, here ) and I just love them to pieces!!! One thing I’ve always noticed is the connection between these two guys. Big Bro Joe started making silly faces, and Beau just LOST it. This kid was laughing so hard I thought he was going to start crying. I have another photo of him with one of those crazy, hysterical laugh faces on – just precious!! It was after that Joey promptly told me he was “done” with photos, and I had to agree. We had a great morning, and he supplied the perfect ending to the shoot. Much love to the K Family – you guys rock!

So CUTE!!!!!

All boy. I was so excited to meet the newest addition to the K Family – pretty little Bella. You all know how I love my boxers, so this was a pure treat!
